Welcome to the 2024 National Young Gents Scholarship Competition (NYGSC), as we premier our first annual competition for young men. Founded in 2016 by Don Anthony, NYGSC is based on the idea that young men must begin with a deep-seated foundation.  We believe that each of our young men possess the unlimited possibilities for their future. In partnership with supportive parents and community leaders we offer the NYGC as a springboard to developing their educational, personal, and leadership skills. This competition is dedicated to empowering young men between the ages of 5 through 17 to prepare them with confidence, awareness, and self-respect to be the leaders of tomorrow. NYGC uses a pageant format to provide young men with an early introduction to the arts and a heightened cultural understanding, as well as training in Public Speaking, Etiquette Classes, and Business, Technology & Entrepreneurialship. They are taught a Production Number promoting creativity and brotherhood. Our program will encompass coaching life skills, guest lectures and demonstrations on communication and technology skills, as well as art appreciation. The participants are tutored in voice projection, poise, body movement and memory techniques. Many of our instructors have had distinguished careers in business and are veterans in the fields of technology, education and business. NYGSC founder and producer Don Anthony heads the 2024 scholarship competition participants to set goals to become future Senators, Doctors, Engineers, IT professionals, CEO’s, Pastors, and Community Leaders.
